Virgen de Guadalupe - Bolivia

For the first time since its first celebration in 1988, the Virgen de Guadalupe parade doesn’t pass through the centre of the town, but on the alleys that surround it, going for more than 4 km.  It’s 2004 and over a 100 folklore groups are taking part in the parade going for more than 20 hours to reach the cathedral, where the first three groups that created it went only for 40 minutes. Las Diabladas, las Morenadas, los Sambos are some of the themes used for the costumes and the dances by the different brotherhoods, each one of which accompanied by its own music band.
