Sunuari

The Cavalo Marinho is a street theater performed, from sunset to dawn, by four to six players that have to impersonate, exchanging roles and masks, 72 characters. The actions, which are strongly affected by interaction with the audience surrounding the actors (a roda), are then described by the ability to improvise. Mestre (with rabeca) and musicians sit on a bench and alternate notes to the recitation of the players following a rate given by the Mestre.
